  1. In general when partner leads the king in no trump
  2. he/she wants to know if you have the A,Q,or J.
  3.  
  4. To show the honor, I play a high card.  With no
  5. honors in my hand I play my lowest card.
  6.  
  7. Situations where this applies include:
  8. 1.  Dummy plays the ace (or keeps the ace) and I
  9. have a high card I want to show partner.
  10. 2.  The play of the queen under the king to show
  11. the jack(NOTE: THE QUEEN IS PLAYED AND NOT
  12. THE JACK).
  13. 3.  In short almost anytime I have a high honor, I 
  14. show a positive attitude.*

  16. *If the dummy has a long suit(5 or more cards),
  17. my play of a high card may be the top of a
  18. doubleton.  With a doubleton if my honor is higher
  19. than dummy's honor, I play low.
